a) Where did you get the album software from?

a friend. He wrote it when he was buying his digital camera. His photo
album is at http://photos.offline.org.uk.

b) What language is it written in?

The frontend
you are seeing now is all written in PHP. The details about the galleries/photos
are stored in MySQL. All the image manipulation is performed when
I submit each gallery as opposed to on the fly, to save on cpu usage.
The image manipulation is performed by Perl scripts and ImageMagick.

c) Where is this site hosted?

2. Image Questions

a) Can I have a larger copy of a picture without the copyright info?

are you?! I take the most of my pictures in 2832x2128, but for bandwidth
reasons I shrink the ones shown on this site to 800x600 and compress
them pretty nastily. If you want a better quality picture, then assuming
I know you or you have a good reason feel free to contact me using
the details in the contact section.
